Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Crayon ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and AEO audit service (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

• Account information. Email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up.
• Audit inputs. The website URL, city and optional business name you submit, plus the resulting audit data (queries, AI responses, citations, mention results).
• Billing information. If you subscribe to Crayon Pro, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card numbers.
• Usage data. Standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) used for security and debugging.

• To run audits and display your results and history.
• To send weekly Pro reports and transactional emails (account, billing).
• To improve the Service and debug issues.
• To prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.

We use a small set of trusted vendors to run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
• AI providers — OpenAI and Google (Gemini) receive your queries (not your account email) in order to generate audit results.

We retain your audit history for as long as your account is active so you can see week-over-week trends. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@crayon.app. When you delete your account, associated audit data is removed within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact support@crayon.app and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We use a minimal set of first-party cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
