Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Crayon (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Crayon is an Answer Engine Optimization audit tool. It queries third-party AI models (such as OpenAI's ChatGPT/GPT-5 and Google's Gemini) and analyzes their responses and cited sources to show how your business surfaces in AI search.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

• Crayon Pro is offered on a monthly subscription at $50/month, billed via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to audit websites you don't own or aren't authorized to audit on behalf of the owner.
• Scrape, resell, or systematically extract Crayon's outputs for redistribution.
• Attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law.

The Service relies on third-party AI models whose outputs can be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. Crayon presents these outputs and our analysis of them "as is" — you are responsible for verifying anything you act on.

The Service uses Supabase (data and authentication), Stripe (billing) and AI providers (OpenAI, Google). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crayon's total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages.

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll notify you via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
